The almost four year old



The almost four year old is independent.
He wants to wash his own hair.
Bathe his own body.
Pick out his own clothes.

The almost four year old can *almost* brush his own teeth.
Can ride his scooter and asks to do so as a Transformer
in February.
The almost four year old can
Dream big dreams.
Pray real prayers...
and believes God for them with every ounce of his being.





The almost four year old 
pauses long enough to say 
"mama will you snuggle with me."
Loves big squeeze hugs.
Loves to tickle, loves hide & go seek.
Loves fruit, veggies, and eggs.
And pancake picnics.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jude Bug!

Happy Birthday my sweet one. I can not believe it's been two years since you have entered our lives. We can not imagine our world with out you in it! You bring us great joy and we love watching you run into the beautiful person God created you to be. With each new day we feel like we learn something new about you and I know this is only the beginning. We love watching you seek Jesus. Thank you for reminding us daily to have childlike faith. You are a true treasure.   May year number three take you into the deeper things of Jesus.  May you hear His voice even clearer than you do now.  May you sense His presence in a deeper way.  Thank you for reminding me of who Jesus created me to be.  I love you, my sweet son!!

Let's Celebrate!

Where I come from, birthdays are a big deal (thanks Mom and Dad!).  It starts off with it being "birthday month", then turns into a bigger deal with "birthday week", then it's the real deal come the day of!  I turn 32 today and things have not changed.  I received this in the mail on Monday:


And each day I've had the pleasure of opening up one of these:


So far I'll be heading to PF Changs, Chick-fil-a, and Cracker Barrell!

Love my parents who still spoil me....32 years later!

Yes. I love birthdays.  
And because I love birthdays,
I want you to celebrate with me!

So if you visit the little ole shop, there's actually not a lot in it.
And that would be because it all went here:

And today's goal was to get product pictures done to get things in the shop....
and the weather went from 85 yesterday to 55 today...and rainy...and cold. Bleh.

It's my first one as a mommy!!!
These boys are the best present and I'm
