InstaFriday

I'm linking up with Jeannett today for InstaFriday! Such a marvelous idea of sharing each Friday the pics I've taken during the week with my cell! How fun! Here goes!

**I use the Instagram app for some, others are just plain ole, plain ole**

Little Buddy loves helping mama fold laundry!

Can't get enough of those cheeks!

The Tickle Monster came out to play this week!!

Out attempt to keep
Jude from watching tv...

This is our prayer/guest/sewing room. Before Summer Camp it became my prepacking room and after camp it became my unloading room. This week it finally came back to my prayer room. So glad to have it back!!!

Love me some baby nap time!!

Jude has discovered Maddie and is insistent on talking to her!!

For the summer we've had Wednesday hang out time. This week we headed to the Braves game. Thankfully it only went to 10 innings. The night before it went to 19. Ekk!!

We took about 50 of us to the game and we carpooled to get us all down there. This was my back seat. Love these girls!!!

G-Nan came up for the night to watch Jude so that we could take the youth to the Braves Game. We took her to lunch on Thursday to say thank you!!

I love sitting on our love seat and looking out our front window...

Daddy being funny!!

We're currently in the car on a road trip...they're best buds...Jude was just a talking to her!!

There was a bad accident just south of Atlanta. It took us an hour and a half to go 36 miles. Ugh. But we stopped in Forsyth and this made everything better!!

That's my week in review via cell phone pictures! Now it's your turn!

That little heartbeat....

If you follow me on twitter or facebook you saw my status on Wednesday:

It was one year ago Wednesday that a little stick told us our lives would never be the same (for the better of course!)  But it was one year ago today that we heard a little heart beat and saw this for the first time (and confirming that we were 6 weeks, 5 days pregnant!):

So on this day I want you to know my son, Jude Robert, the first moment I heard your heartbeat I was overcome by love for you.  You are everything I could ever imagine and more.  As much joy as you brought us with that first little sound of your heartbeat, you have brought us tenfold since you've entered into this world.  You are perfect in every way and we are so in love with you our Little Hoot! :)

"For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of
the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written,
every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them."
Psalm 139:13-16, ESV

Inspiration Workshop: The Beach

I'm linking up for the first time with the Gussy Sews Inspiration Workshop.  This weeks prompt is the BEACH.  Perfect for my first time at this thing!

My first five years in ministry were spent in a coastal lowcountry town just south of Savannah called Richmond Hill.  I loved everything about Savannah and the lowcountry...and especially the beach.  Richmond Hill sat an hour away from St. Simons Island and it was this place that I found refuge.  It became my sanctuary as it is where I ran to to meet with my Beloved Jesus.  It was on a quiet spot on the beach that Jesus and I ran away together.  It is where the Lord downloaded much to my heart and it is where He gave me inspiration and where He sustained me.

Here are some pictures I found via pinterest of my little sanctuary....enjoy....

And here are a few from my dream category.....

I do believe I could spend hours here with the Lord!

I would not mind a little cottage on the beach...just a little one :)

A nook...yes, good for my heart!

Isn't this the cutest?

I have a thing for porches...can you tell?

And if I'm really gonna dream.....

Jude Robert, You are Four Months Old

My baby!  Where is the time going?
You are Four Months Old!

Over the course of this month we saw your shining
personality come through!

You are hilarious!
You are ALWAYS smiling!
I call you my smiley baby!

You make the funniest faces and
we love this stage that you are in!
You are so much fun!

This month you discovered your
vocal cords...as you became quite
vocal.  We think you like to talk
to hear yourself talk...and we love it!
Praying you will have a mighty
voice for the Kingdom of God!

You found your thumb for real this month.
It's something you've been toying with,
but as of this month
you have almost completely
replaced your pacifier with
your thumb.
Cutest. Thing. I. Ever. Did. See.

You discovered how to roll over...
both ways...
way to go super baby!

You sleep incredibly well.
You know your bed time--on the dot at 7 you
get fussy, in the bath by 7:30, down by 8.
You sleep till anywhere between 6-7,
eat, then go back to sleep till at least 9...
We say, Thank you Jesus!
(You also take a short nap in the morning
and usually about a 2 hour nap in the afternoon!)

You are all over the place when it comes to
size of clothes!  You can still wear some 0-3...
as long as they don't have feet!  You wear most
3 month and 3-6 month clothes.

We are loving your cloth diapers..
you seem to like them too!
We did take disposables to Summer Camp...
bought size 2, but took the remaining
size 1's we had.  You stayed in the 1's
all week!

Speaking of camp...you had your first RiverStone Summer Camp!!!
You did so good!  I was so proud of you!
You loved spending the quality time with your dad
over the course of the week...
and of course the entire RiverStone Staff!
We are so grateful for the family the
Lord has given us here.

You actually turned 4 months old while we
were at camp and we took all these pictures
on the porch of our cabin!
(Camp and camera transferring malfunction is
why this post is getting up so late!)

The buckets of drool appeared during
your 4th month...and the day before
you turned 4 months old (at camp)
you officially started "teething."
*Which made you even more of a champ at camp!*

At your 4 month check up you
weighed in at 14 pounds, 13 ounces...
in the 49th percentile and
you measured in at 25.5 inches long...
still in the 75th percentile.
Speaking of healthy...
you still eat every 3 hours on the dot during the day!

You officially decided you didn't want to be
a "baby" anymore.  You don't like laying down...
you want to sit up and see the world!  We even
sat you forwards in your jogging stroller at
camp and you LOVED seeing the world!

We discovered your love for toys this month!
You love to play and you can
entertain yourself quite well!
You even fell in love with a walker this month--
but you can only walk backwards.
It's hilarious...we love to watch you play!

You still love Murphy...
we even have two now...
as Murphy #1 was having to take
too many emergency baths! :)

During this month our dear Paw Paw passed away.
I am so, so, so grateful that Paw Paw got to meet you
before he went home to be with the Lord.
You and I spent a week of quality time with the family
as Paw Paw passed and you got to meet lots more of
your Aunts, Uncles and cousins!

We love you sweet baby.
Thank you for four beautiful months.
You are a precious gift to us!

InstaFriday

I'm linking up with Jeannett for the first time today for InstaFriday!  Such a marvelous idea of sharing each Friday the pics I've taken during the week with my cell!  How fun!  Here goes!

**I use the Instagram app for some, others are just plain ole, plain ole**

This is our new toy--Oliver the Octopus (naturally)
We took Oliver and Murphy on a road trip to Perry
for the weekend!

Sporting our new airplane bib!
Aren't I cute?

Maddie came along for the road trip too...
she went to bed early!

The Men...
Four Generations Strong.

The boys--12 hours apart--
with their sons 8 weeks apart.
Love.

Sporting our Owl/Jude bib.
Bibs are crucial these days
with the buckets of drool
that are coming forth!

Just hanging out.  There's Oliver again.

Got a new calendar...since I roll on the
school calendar.  LOVE a fresh, blank, new calendar..
anyone else feel this way?

Tuesdays.  We love Tuesdays.
Amelia and I hung out in Richmond Hill
every Tuesday for 3 years.  Now that she's
in Marietta for the summer we continue
the tradition.  Jude calls her Aunt Mia.

Parenting at it's finest.
Really...this takes talent!
(And that's a high chair my baby is sitting up in!)

These came across the cell phone this week..
so had to share.  Isn't my niece just the cutest!

Yep!  All out cute!

Playing with Daddy's childhood/
homemade sock monkey!

Jude and Anna Claire are best buds!!
They hung out together at Youth Night at Yogli Mogli
this week!

Join us!  Link up with Jeannett Now!
