Jude Robert, You Are Twelve Weeks Old

Jude Robert!!
You are Twelve Weeks Old!

And here we are at your final
weekly photo shoot!

I started out this adventure
wanting to document the first
12 weeks of your life....

and I feel like I blinked and it
has blown by!

You have grown leaps and bounds over
the past 12 weeks...
it has been beautiful to watch

We've watched your little personality emerge
and you've become your own little person.

Your smiles are contagious
and your giggles are priceless!

You are so full of joy that
we can't wait to see the huge plans
God has for you unfold!

Your 12th week was a big one...

Your G-Nan came to take care of you so that
your mommy and daddy could
work an all day Student Ministry Golf Tournament.
You had the best time with her...
and you even came out to the golf course for a visit!

You traveled for a nice long weekend and got
to finally meet your Savannah family.
We had a huge get together and
you got lots of loving!

The next day you got to meet
your Richmond Hill friends
and you loved all the attention!

You went swimming for the first time...
and you loved it!!!

I think you are really going to enjoy
hanging out in Nana and Granddaddy's
back yard for many years to come!

You tried lots of new toys this week...
from a johnny jump up...
to an exersaucer!

As for sleeping in your 12th week, you
had a night or two that you woke up
during the night, but for the most
part you kept on with
your 8-10 hour stretches at night.
You are a champ!!!

You play hard during the day
and love to go night night when the time comes.
I love how you look at me as if you
are saying thank you when I put you down
in the evenings.

You travel so well....
I in no way want to take that for granted!!!

My little man it has been pure joy
documenting the first 12 weeks of your life...
don't worry this is not the end of your photo shoots...
instead of doing weekly...we'll just move on to only
doing monthly...I know...this is how you feel about it....

You are perfect in every way!!!!

Life.

In case you've noticed, I haven't exactly figured out how to be a full time working mommy, wife, blogger, crafter and good house keeper. I'm doing good to get on average one post a week .... So while the blog may have suffered ... He's so worth it.

Just look at that smile. Who wouldn't eat him up??

Thank you for being patient and loyal readers while I try to figure out this new beautiful life that I have. Life itself has thrown us a few curve balls here lately...we went two weeks being a single car family, one week without a refrigerator. Little man got referred to Scottish Rite--and praise the Lord all came back normal but not before this mama went on an emotional roller coaster. We've had some mix ups with our insurance company--thankfully they owe us money instead of the other way around, but I'll never get the hours back that I've spent on the phone. Then this week my breast pump went out (is that tmi? Sorry just being real as it was quite traumatic for me.)

Through it all I've seen my God provide and sustain us. It's made this little family of three stronger. It's made us hold hands and pray a little longer. It's taught us to laugh a little more. It's made me want to hold onto my Beloved Jesus just a little longer. I'm thankful for His faithfulness. I'm thankful that all the things listed above are trivial and what matters is we have each other!

So how do I have time to blog now you may ask? Well we are on a 4.5 hour road trip and I finally figured out how to blog from my phone...so here I am. Sitting in the backseat because with the car seat our beloved Bassett Hound is too long to fit in the back....which is hilarious. Not so hilarious when she started throwing up in the front seat and there was nothing I could do to help my husband who was driving...and it was pouring down rain. Yes that just happened. Ah. Life. Really all you can do is laugh. Especially since I spent more time today than probably ever cleaning my car inside and out. Rain + throw up = no longer a clean car. Oh well. It was nice the few hours it lasted.

Down the road we continue to go. So grateful for a holiday weekend and Jude finally gets to meet my family and friends. And to celebrate this holiday weekend I've put my shop on sale!! Remember that little shop I have? It hasn't seen much activity--okay none since Jude was born. But Hubs and I have been scheming behind the scenes and big things are coming. I'm so thankful for a husband who supports me and believes in me! To celebrate the holiday weekend and make room for what's coming I have a coupon code for you! When checking out, enter the code: HOLIDAY40 to receive 40% off each item! I've never done more than 20% off so I'm quite excited about this!

Okay, I should go but I so loved checking in and sharing life with you. Leave us a note and say hello. Let us know what you are up to this Memorial Day Weekend. Let's share life together shall we?

Jude Robert, You Are Eleven Weeks Old

Jude Robert you are eleven weeks old!!!

And you are the cutest thing I ever did see!

There are so many pictures to share this week
 because your little personality is
just shinning through!

You are such a happy,
smiley baby!

You are so much fun and a joy to be around!

During your 11th week
you dropped your middle of the night feeding...
all on your own!

You've been sleeping 8-10 hours straight!

Your best night yet was
8:30pm-6:30am!
It was a marvelous night!

During your 11th week we switched you
from regular diapers to your

You look so cute in your cloth diapers!
You have the cutest little tooshie!

During this week due to your
choking episodes,
we brought you back into our room
to sleep at night.

You still start each evening in your
own room, but when we
go to bed we go in and scoop you up
and bring you into our room.

You still love your owl lovie
(lovingly named Murphy).

You get quite concerned when Murphy
is missing (as in getting a bath
in the washing machine!)

You had your first big Youth Event
with our Summer Camp Kickoff/
End of the Year party!

You are dearly loved little one
and there is no lack of amazing
people that want to love on you!

We're eagerly anticipating
your first Summer Camp...
that will be here soon!

I packed up a good portion of your newborn
clothes during this week--anything
that was newborn size and hand
legs/footies...they got put away...

It took all I had to not ball while
packing up your tiny clothes!

You can still fit in some newborn onesies, but
for the most part you've moved on to
0-3 and 3 month clothing.

You are growing like a little weed
and "filling out" as some call it.
I think you are well over 12 pounds now.

We picked up this "Beatles" onesie
right after you were born and have
been waiting for you to grow into it...
it's still a little big,
but I wanted to capture some pictures of you in it.

Not that your Mommy and Daddy
are huge Beatles fans....
but your name is Jude and
you get sung "Hey Jude" quite often!

And on that note incase you are wondering...
you are named after Jude in the Bible--
who is the half brother of Jesus.
Your Daddy and I love the book of Jude!

We love the verse Jude 1:25

 "To the only God,

our Savior,

through Jesus Christ our Lord,

be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority,

before now and forever.

Amen."

You gave me so many smiles

this week that I just had to share them all...

Thank you for being so sweet

and giving us lots of giggles!

I love you with all that I have my little
smiley baby!

These have been a marvelous

first eleven weeks!!!!
