A Garden. Good for the Heart.

Today I'm linking up with Gussy over at Gussy Sews for her weekly inspiration workshop.
This week's prompt is "Gardens."

I love this prompt and am so excited to share my heart with you!

I've always longed for a beautiful backyard...one that I can just spend hours in.  I'd call it my "prayer garden" and I would walk slowly through it while I commune with my God.

Song of Solomon 4:9-15 says,
"You have captivated my heart, my sister, my bride;
   you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes,
   with one
 jewel of your necklace.How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride!
   How much
better is your love than wine,
   and
 the fragrance of your oils than any spice!Your lips drip nectar, my bride;

honey and milk are under your tongue;
   the fragrance of your garments is
 like the fragrance of Lebanon.A garden locked is my sister, my bride,
   a spring locked,
a fountain sealed.Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranates
   with all
 choicest fruits,

 henna with nard,nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon,
   with all trees of
 frankincense, myrrh and aloes,
   with all choice spices—
a garden fountain, a well of living water,
   and flowing streams from
 Lebanon."

In the words of Mike Bickle, "Jesus reveals His desire for His bride (4:9-10) and then affirms her godly life and fruitful ministry referred to as a flourishing garden (4:11-15)."

Yes.  Gardens.  Good for my heart.
