A gift in the mail...

I love getting mail, don't you? I really wish I sent mail more often--I have an addiction to stationary--just need to be more diligent with getting that stationary out to my mailbox to bless others...I digress.

So, I came home today to a beautiful package. One I was expecting, but still excited, none the less to see it sitting there in the mail. This is what was inside:

A few months back, my mother-in-law sent me an email asking me if I'd be interested in going to a Beth Moore event in April that is being held up here by me. I said, yes, please! Then just a week or so ago, my mother-in-law sent me another email letting me know that Beth would be doing a Bible Study with her new book on her blog and wanted to know if I was interested and the book would be her treat. Um, pretty please, with a cherry on top? And the best part? Beth will be wrapping up the bible study at the event we are already planning on attending in April--and it will be simulcasted! How cool is that! So, the book arrived in my mail today and the bible study starts tomorrow!

I'm so excited. I just finished a season of writing curriculum for our small groups--a season I throughly enjoyed--yet it was quite time consuming....it wrapped up yesterday. That season right there is why the blog went silent for a few weeks. The other reason being my hubby has been in desperate need of a computer and he's been using mine....his papers out weigh me writing on the blog, as much as I hate to disappoint. But, we finally bought him a new computer last week, so things are looking up for our blog! Yay! I'm excited!

So, what are you reading? I'm looking forward to this next season of spending some stuff on the "inwards" of me. That makes sense in my head. Does it make sense to you? I'm also readingCrazy Love by Francis Chan and The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.

Let me hear from you, how are you, let me know what the Lord's been doing in your life...tell me what you're reading...tell me what's been showing up in your mailbox! :)

I'm so glad you got it -- and knew who it was from! I should have at least included and "Enjoy" or "I love you!" But just getting it to the post office was a milestone. So .... hope you enjoy it. Wrapping it up together at Woodstock will be a blast!

Now as for what I'm reading: Paul, Paul, and more Paul. "To Live is Christ."

I love you!
