Transition

Websters definition of transition is: a passage from one state, stage, subject or place to another: change. Which leads us to the next definition--of change--to make radically different.

The thing I've learned the past few months is that transition is NOT easy...but when you are walking in the way of the Lord--it makes it a little easier--or at least more peaceful.

But in case I haven't expressed lately that I love where the Lord has me, I thought right now would be a good opportunity. Jesus has blessed us with an incredible community. Relationships are being built with the youth and we love loving on them....they can be intimidating at times, as some days I feel as if they know Jesus better than I do and I'm not quite sure what I have to offer them...but I have to remember daily that Jesus has specifically called me to this place--which means HE has equipped me!

The past few months have been a time of healing, stretching and being loved on. I am grateful for this new chapter the Lord has given Robert & I. We still miss the last chapter, but believe we are where the Lord wants us and there is nothing that compares to knowing that.

Today our staff had a day of fun and I was just reminded of how much I love being here. Below are just a few pictures that I thought I would share with all of you. T.T.--I left out the incriminating ones--but I was oh, so tempted!

The Staff (we're missing a few key people!):

The girls being mischievous--the picture was taken right afterwards--so really there is no proof:

The boys scheming on what they need to do to beat the girls...

It was boys vs. girls--boys won first game, girls won second game, but boys won overall in scoring--but as one wonderful staff member stated, "there are no cheaters in heaven."

And here is a picture of our kids at youth tonight--more on this beautiful picture later:

I can't wait to read more about the picture from youth group.

I've been praying for you and Cory during this time.

Much love.

wow. i was going to try and leave a funny comment, but when I saw that last picture i just wanted to cry. It is incredible what the Lord is doing and I think it is awesome to see the Lords timing of you and Robert getting there right when something huge is beginning.
